In case this hasn't been noted elsewhere, if we beat Carlton tomorrow night , not only will it be our 12th straight win for the season but it will also be our 12th straight win against them. I must admit, in the cold years of the late 70s and 80s, neither of these milestones seemed remotely possible.

Carlton V Lions, i usually barrack for anyone other than the Lions but i hate the Blues too much. i was decked out in my saints gear and some feral scum at the pub before the game were having a go at me. Some old mole with no teeth, hardly any hair, bad breath, a tit hanging over her left shoulder and wee stained nickers around her knees,
said' why would you go for the saints
i said' how good is it being on top of the ladder, where are you at? Arent you supposed to be coming? Coming where?
she said' well at least we have a good history, how many have the bloody saints won? 1 premiership in over 100 years!!'
i said' if we are talking about history, how proud are you that you are dirty rotten f***** cheats. How good is it that we have won 11 in a row against your rabble of a club and that we got Goddard and Hamill off you, your 2 best ever players?'


She ended up turning away to light up another cigeratte and drink the remainder of her house white wine. Then her husband (or brother) came over and wanted to have a go at me. I told him to get f***ed, meet with me after next week. I hope i see him in Brisbane after a huge win!!

I agree. No way was Kernahan over rated. Very similar player to Stewart Leowe in my opinion, and he is revered.
