What will be next from this club ?
this isn't gospel, however milney was in the race last week and he said by as much by indicating that he was still another week away.Leo.J wrote:I should have been more specific with the thread title, I was wonderring if anyone could elaborate on how close Milne and Gilbert were to being ready.
it was a fairly serious strain to his ACL from what i gather and as has been the way this season there is very much a softly-softly conservative approach.
dunno anything about gilbo but milno may miss this week on the basis of him suggesting that he is still "one week" away.

Yep, I think it's the old strained medial. We have a bit of history of these, in GFs in particular. Darrel Baldock had one in the '66 GF and he had little influence on the game except when it counted in the last ten minutes and Robert Harvey had one in the '97 GF, but still had 36 disposals and yet was criticised by morons for not having a greater effect on the game.Leo.J wrote:A PCL is not good either, a ML would be better newsolder saint wrote:I thought Milne was a PCL not ACL. Significant difference

That GF had a lot to do with how Baldock's opponent played. Collingwood's Ted Potter was the first player to regularly contain Baldock because he was willing to sacrifice his own game for his team.perfectionist wrote:Yep, I think it's the old strained medial. Pryor of Essendon did likewise.
I think they could be described as football's first hard taggers.

The more you know, the more you know you don't know.
When I was a young child, I knew that I knew so much about so much.
Now that I am old and know so much more, I know that I know so much about so little, and so little about so much.

If any doubt give them a one week break which means two weeks given the split round.

Is that like you told Kingy to book a holiday on friday........LAST WEEK. They were always going to be picked after the team gets announced!!!!!!!!!RIGHT Once again I believe your next message will be along the lines of your other 17700000001 messages, encouraging, positive, well informed, witty & with a touch of commradship to a fellow saints supporter. When travelling around this great country of ours the best thing for me is when I happen to meet another saints supporter and we acknowledge we have the same passion I just hope your white letter fever is confined this place and you would be akin to the other people I have had the pleasure to meet on my travels
Dont get me wrong I am always up for a laugh, but not at someone else expense unless I know them really well.
