That Piper Grrrl!!!

Post: # 753799Post Sainternist »

Just wondering with the Etihad honchos threatening to get our jazzmen blacklisted from playing on the walk way, are they also trying to knock the wind outta the young lass with the bagpipes?

Hope she also stands her ground and plays them loud and proud!

When I walk past her on the way to the ground, I like to sing a different version of the club song to her cadence.

(to the tune of O When The Saints Go Marching in)

It's a long way to the top
If you wanna rock n' roll
How I love to sing AC/DC
When the Saints go marching in

I don't like her.

Saw her down near Richmond station doing the filth's song one night.

I saw her last night after we subjected the Doggies to a good old fashioned flogging. It all prompted me to book the flights, accommodation and GF tickets. I hope she is there on the big day!

I don't think she's anything flash to look at but I admire her endurance to 'play on' in, at times, arctic-like conditions

She may've worn the scarf of evil and got her pay but as I passed the piper after Saturday's game and listened simultaneously on MMM to the boys singing the song exactly in time with the bagpipes I thought this chick's got a calling. It's a long way to the top but reckon she's taking the high road.

Just one small criticism....

Don't mind her playing the filth song for a tenner...

And she is cute to these old eyes.....

But why would a bagpiper have to stop because they were out of breath?

Surely that's what the bellows are for. :?

I have it on good authority she doesn't support the filth..but then she doesn't support us either!!

I really don't give a rats...she sounds fine to me when she's blasting out out our song before a game.

Wonder if she'd make the same amount of cash in a baggy old coat and tracky daks instead of the tight jeans??

Theres a career in marketing beckoning methinks lol

Saw Classical Gas man packing up as I walked back across the bridge..but no sign of the "boys"..maybe one of em was crook ..Im sure theres no great conspiracy :-)

No they weren't and who cares they play anyone's theme song, not just Saints.

Umm - she's a busker. No fraud involved. Would you accuse a cover band of the same thing?

What I can't get by is the way she walks/trots like a draught horse on top of that seat!! Cracks me up!

I've given her a few buck (who'll be first in on that, Grumpy or Cowboy?) Had no worries doing it, like the bagpipe sound resonating over the footbridge... especially to That Tune!

And yeah, she's pretty too!!
