Were Kevin and Stephen Roberts brothers? They were at the club at the same time.

I was there the day he did his knee in against Essendon. He had 5 to half time which may have been all we had kicked up to that stage but it was a long time ago. Alf Brown gave him one vote that day even though he only played for a half. would have kicked 100 for sure that year as he was just too big and strong for anyone.

No, and neither was related to Neil either.

Kevin Roberts was a handy HF with a nice left foot who could take a grab. He played in the 1965 GF. For the ten years he played, he was an in-and-outer

Stephen Roberts was an interesting player. He was hopeless when he started but developed into a very sound backman/occasional ruckman. Just when he came good, he gave it all away at the age of 21, I think because he wanted to go into business, or do some study in the West, or something.

Matt and Tim Rendell
(one a very good career, the other played Fitzroy reserves - well so I'm told)

Grant Thomas and "Pinky" Pinklon Thomas the boxer

Stewart and Alistair Lord were (are?) identical twins. In the year that Alistair won the Brownlow (by a mile), he whacked a Tiger player in Round 15 and should have been reported. The reporting umpire confused the two. Stewart said it was him (which of course it wasn't). But as neither was a Saints player, the Tribunal believed him and (I think) gave him a week.

Gowans (Chris and James) Dominated VFL, came to Saints played a season then went to Central Districts in SANFL where they have dominated for nearly 10 years.

Burgoynes (Peter and Shane)

Apparently, James Gowans played 4 games for us in 1999. Strangely, I have no recollection of him at all, nor of those games. A bit like our coach at the time some might say.

Have the Sexton brothers been mentioned?
From Carlton & Footscray I think.
Ben is my Chiropractor in Bendigo. Great bloke too. (Despite having once worn the Carlscum jumper)
I'm pretty sure that they are the only brothers to play AFL that were born in PNG.

Keith Miller & Ray Miller......... I think Ray only played with St Kilda seconds. He was a nuggety little rover...the very opposite to Keith in looks, siz and temperament.

Bill & Laurie Stephenson. Think another poster has already mentioned them.

Dare I say the Scott Brothers, hated both of them

The Wakelins are brothers, but they were pretty similar in talent level.

I thought Anthony Harvey was very unlucky to get dropped, then he never got another chance.
