Parking suggestions
Hi fellow saints supporters,
I'm driving to the dome today (sick of connex), can anyone suggest a convenient place to park (without costing an arm and a leg)?
Cheers for any help,
GO SAINTS!

I think you mean East Melbourne ?
In the blocks behind Festival Hall ?
But please don't tell anyone !
There is also some free parking on the other side of the Yarra when you cross that new wheel-chair friendly pedestrian bridge that goes in a bit of a loop and go a bit further on across the major intersection into the side streets.
But keep that quiet too !!!!
The rest of Australia can wander mask-free, socialise, eat out, no curfews, no zoning, no police rings of steel, no illogical inconsistent rules.

That would be West Melbourne. Festival Hall is in West Melbourne. Dallas Brooks Hall is in East Melbourne.Enrico_Misso wrote:SssshhhhBernard Shakey wrote:Plenty of free parking in North Melbourne. 10 minute walk to the ground.

Old enough to repaint, but young enough to sell

$13 at the bottom of Little Collins Street. (Near the intersection of Little Collins/Spencer Street). Always open during TD games - closes a couple of hours after the match.
2 minute walk to the pedestrian overpass to TD.
Very easy to get out of, just go up Little Collins until you hit Kings, and then you've got Monash Freeway/Citylink.

I'm two minutes from Moorabbin and people used to park in our street.Pwoit wrote:Who remembers traveling to Moorabin by car looking for that prime park in the side streets. And the home owners offering up their front lawns for parking - I think the going rate was $1 a car
I can't imagine how good it would be if we played there still. Would be perfect.

Not Moorabbin (as i am to young) But at Eden Park in Auckland, there is always some bloke in an Auckland jersey on a couch selling spots on his front lawn cooking a BBQ.
