Kosi takes great mark in backline, Got to give credit to bombers they are pressuring us and then trying to break game open with their pace which if not for their skill level some times we could be in trouble.

We lost that quarter and at times looked a bit flat but to our credit when we got a chance we took it. 56 to 31 at halftime not too bad considering the pace of the game. Our defence is backing each other well and they are flooding back then creating some run through the middle.

Thank god for Geary.

Davey and Lovett are killing us. Neagle needs more attention. Bloody Essendon can't miss. 5.1 and the 1 was a rushed behind.

Joey, Roo and Kosi all went missing after massive first qtr's.

Need to get our ruckman hurting Essendon the other way.

It seems this commentary team is under orders from the AFL to disregard all objectivity and barrack for Essendon.

Inaccuracy costing us. Itd be an enitrely different game if we were as accurate as essendon, we'd be 16.0. After seeing this i don't think we have a chance against Geelong now, they can run and carry 100x better than essendon and they outdid us in the 2nd quater.

I thought that too, Hird comes out with some wisdom but then slips in something about essendon which diminishes as it comes across a bit biased. Networks should use commentors that have no attachment to any club they cover on that day and I say that knowing that previous saints players fall into that category.

We will be fine against geelong. We are up by 25 points at half time despite having our 2nd worst qtr of the year.

Getting killed by their pace and run. If they could hit their targets the scorebaord would read very differently I reckon. Jopefully we can make a few changes and get back to the first quarter. Still 25 pts up though.

They just showed the Dal/Davey incident he lined Dal up and jumped but turned his back as he collected. Healy and Hird said can't make contact with the Head and the AFL are strong on that. One week or good record will get him a reprimand.

Just showed the rooms at half time Grammy on the exercise bike supplied by Mort of Workout World Hoppers Crossing a mad saints supporter and doing his bit for the club. Get down and see him he will look after Saints supporters, (I know I have got a great Gym at a great price)

It is really biased commentary. BT openly cheers for Essendon and is willing us to muck up. Hird is simply unprofessional. He just doesn't understand his obligations as a "commentator." It's pretty sickening to listen to. Totally agree Backit: "Networks should use commentors that have no attachment to any club they cover on that day...."

Imagine if we have a quarter like this against Geelong...i know its all theoretical but still geelong would be up by 20+ points imo.
