Ross Lyon T-Shirts

Post: # 739064Post cuz60 »

I'm one of those regular reader's who doesn't post quite often generally through lack of time.

I remember a couple of months ago someone suggested we get some t-shirts printed up with Ross Lyon's mug on it. At the time I thought that might be going a bit too far but maybe if someone is good with a printing press we could get the picture of Ross from the 'Before the Game' show as Conan the Barbarian!

I know it is a bit outlandish but Hawthorn's supporters behind the goals look quite imposing with the all yellow attire. Would be good support if we had 1000's of saints supporters behind Ross.

Question is what would the slogan be??? Discuss

After all the crap he copped in the past 2 seasons from some of the internet heroes who came on here and wanted him sacked. There was a lot of people who didn't have faith that we could turn things around with him in charge. I think it would be quite ironic to see him have a groundswell of support.

That's far too long to put on a t-shirt.

Took me a while to come round but I think I'm firmly in Ross' camp now, however I'll keep wearing attire that says I'm behind the TEAM!

.......but on further pondering I could be persuaded to wear a badge (like the player badges) with a pic of "Ross the Barbarian"!

Perfect, can't imagine a better caption...then on the back we could have "At the end of the day..."

This could be a very good money spinner, especially to either help with the cost of this site or to sponsor another player next year.

Put me down for 4 if this ever gets off the ground.

And why not, we couldn't we launch something like this....and sell them through saintsational? There are plenty of custom design t-shirt websites...

The only hiccup I see is the ownership of the Ross the Barbarian picture. But I also think that it would be a slap in the face to Ross - he is all about the team and the team thing - isolating him as our 'new messiah' goes a bit against the gain.

I think it would be fantastic to have everyone wuld just turn up to the game in white - white T shirts everywhere! (or a colour that the opposition does not have - ie red for Collingwood) Easier - Cheaper - but if everyone organised it on a grand scale and the Saints website published the colour each week !!!!! WOW

Can you imagine the impact of just a sea of white around Our Dome!
