so back to how did the players/jumpers get presented?

No, we're not there yet.
It does have to do with meat, but think of how it is prepared before it is presented to trhe customer, what kind of things that would entail, and how that would fit in with giving someone money.

Is this a hard question, or is it just horribly obscure?

No, it isn't about a truck or any kind of large scale delivery method. The above club is probably the closest I can goi without revealling the answer.

I found this gem in a magazine called Footy Week, in a preview of the 1989 season, the mag was a competitor for Inside Footy, but fizzled after a short time. This article was stuck in between one copnsoling Essendon fans for losing Roger Merrett to the Brisbane Bears, and one featuring Michjael Roberts (from Fitzroy at the time) having a surfing holiday, complete with kitch photos of him "surfing"!

It turned out not to be that smart of a move, actually. 1987 proved a false dawn, we stumbled to another last placing with only a handful of wins in '88 and Snowdeli was no more shortly after. I believe they were bought out by either IGA or the Tuckerbag chain.

no mate

it's a bit of a trick question...

he was appointed earlier earlier but had to turn it down because of pressure frome the Tasmanian ALP (he was a MP at the time)

I remember seeing the Doc in the outer at the Junction Oval making notes in about 1983. I think we may have won that game with big Max Crow pulling down everything that came his way.
