V Collingwood All Reserved Ticket Match ????

Post: # 732418Post ace »

How long will it take before the AFL declares the game versus Collingwood an all reserved seat match.

It is a Collingwood home game at Jihad Stadium, so there will be heaps of filth supporters going.
But it is highly likely that for every seat reserved by a Saints supporter a filth supporter will miss out. :D :D :D

I didn't wait, I used my MCC membership to reserve myself a seat in the Access One area, this morning as soon as they became available.
Level 2, Aisle 33, Row D = good position to see the Saints squish Collingwood's maggots.

they delare games ATLEAST two weeks out-
Being Monday and not a Holiday period

it's not going to happen now. ( I say fairly confidently- haven't heard)

Found Saint66au post
Now..just one new piece of information on the Collingwood game. I've now been told that there now WILL be walk-up seating on areas of Level 3 for this game. This is contrary to information I received some weeks ago that it was almost certain to be "all-ticket", which is why I went ahead with the L1 booking for us. If I've mislead anyone who wouldn't have bought L1 tickets otherwise, I apologise, but I was acting in good faith on what information was given to me. Trying to organise the MW in "walk up" mode for a Collingwood home game however would be virtually impossible I think, but I encourage anyone who isn't part of our booking to head to the usual area. If I get any other information as to where the Walk-Up areas are, I'll be sure to pass it on!!

Collingwood v St Kilda matches at the Dome are almost always sold out especailly when Collingwood is home team.

Unbelievable - you are telling me that the AFL itself does not have faith in the drawing power of Monday night football.

If ever proof were needed that the AFL puts television ahead of spectators this lack of faith is it.

It can still sell out...non-ticketed just means that there is walk up seating for those who purchase GA tickets
It can still sell out...non-ticketed just means that there is walk up seating for those who purchase GA tickets
But if and when it does sell out they will stop selling General Admission tickets. (maybe on the night)
And you can't purchase GA tickets once they stop selling them.
Walk up, then walk home to catch the final quarter on TV.

Regardless of whether or not it is a sell out or fully ticketed, because I'm not going, does anyone know if it's on Foxtel live or on repeat?
And if so does that mean we'll have to sit at home until midnight whilst Seven shows an "encore performance" of Better Homes and Gardens featuring Dr Harry showing on how to put your dear old family dog to sleep, followed by Joh Griggs showing you how to crochet those fabulous toilet paper holders in the shape of said deceased doggy?

So who is doing the broadcast and how "live" will it be?

It's NOT on Foxtel live

exactly, and further to this non-ticketed games can get higher attendances than ticketed games
