That meant so much tonight

Post: # 729639Post saint patrick »

Has been a tough week with Mum passing away on Wednesday night...

After having a stroke on Tuesday and not being able to open her eyes or move was still talking occassionally at Frankston Hospital and still managed to mention that Nick Dal Santo was one of the best last week hearing someone mention the footy in the background...

Is a friend of Eileen Dal Santo's who was a good friend of my late sister Jane in Bendigo

...Janey turored Nick as a maths Teacher ...

Mum slipped away peacefully the following day to join her beloved Sir Walter who is the definite X factor in the match commitee upstairs this year...

Brought a tear to our families collective eyes tonight
as the we gathered in the family home at Sorrento and sang the song with some extra passion tonight...

If the sainthood upstairs has any bearing on our fortunes this year we are in good hands

Sorry to hear that St.Patrick...glad the boys got win for you. Our family also lost a great sainter earlier this year...and he was on the board of StKilda for many years...a great bloke called Fred Swann....I'm sure he's pulling a few moves from the other side. Just about his last words were "Put Goddard to Full forward"
Best wishes to you and your family.

My sympathies Saint Patrick.

Condolences to you and your family St Pat.

My father passed away the night of the Milney game where he kicked a lazy 11 straight.

My brother and I watched the Adel v STK (Harvey) Qual Final at the clubrooms the following week. Know how you feel.

All the best

Go Saints

My condolences also Saint Patrick. You are a true saint family and it also saddened me to read about your loss of your mother. However to ease your pain, think of it as now having your folks back together and working together as the X factor in the match commitee upstairs. I'm sure they will help us in a big way to go all the way this year.
