The St Kilda Sea Baths is now our official venue for watching interstate games.
GREAT MOVE by the Saints, gives our fans a gathering point and somewhere decent to eat and drink.
Some great discounts on membership and prices too.
(What's that? Archie organised something else? But I thought he ruined the club ...)

Oh I do like to be beside the sea baths
Oh I do like to be beside the sea
Down near the junction past the football ground
That's where the saints like to hang around
So let's give three cheers for old St.Kilda
For premiers this year we will be
Although it's not yet in the bag
we have hopes to win the flag
beside the sea baths, beside the sea.

they are advertising OTHER games - ie ANZAC day- but have listed Saints games.Republica goes wireless. Free for the people.
No...not a free old radio, but free internet for all customers at Republica. As good as your office might be, does it have a view of the beach and a Barista?

It will be lost on many , but to put a few youngies in the picture
this is based on what was our old club song before changing to "Oh When the Saints Come Marching In"
Well done very clever and bought a smile to this old farts face!
I think the venue has taken the start times from the AFL fixture rather than the TV guide..and assumed that tomorrow night will be shown live (which all the other games are...but tomorrow night absolutely WONT be )
Absolutely wonderful work by the Club..theyve even made the hippy happy
Looking forward to heading down there for the remainder of the Interstate games.

I wonder if this spells the end of telecasting from the crappy Social Club??
Shame tomorrow night isn't live.
...still waiting on word of any venue that is showing it live through a dodgy feed.
Please PM me!!!
If there are ZERO venues getting a live feed, the farking AFL and Channel 7 have done a great job screwing all us supporters.
Well done Dimwit, I hope you don't allow this again in the new contract.

It's great to see the club finally doing some networking with St Kilda the suburb.
And before anyone mentions, yes, it's proof they read this site closely. It might not be the last we see of the club re-forging links with the suburb...
Good work SS posters, well done to the club for taking action.
Post-work swim at the baths, pre-game drinks at The Saint, back to the baths for the game, back to The Saint to continue the fun...

Not sure evertonfc ... I know it was a tough call to leave the Saints because he is so passionate ... and many of the decisions he has made on and off the field are now bearing fruit, and he won't be around to take credit.evertonfc wrote:Legendary, how's he feeling about the new gig he's landed at FFA?Legendary wrote:(What's that? But it was basically a dream job and not the sort of opportunity he would get again ... I haven't heard at this stage how it's going ...
