sounds like a busy day at Frankston

Family fun at Frankston!
The annual 'I Love Frankston' day is on again, this Saturday, April 18 at Frankston Park. Bring the family for a great afternoon of entertainment.
After more than 2000 people enjoyed the festivities last year, the 2009 version is again expected to be a family favourite.
Admission charges have been waived and entry is by a donation, which can be made at the gates, with funds being raised for local charity Woorinyan and the Dolphins.
The Dolphins - in their www.visitfrankston.com jumpers - and new coach Shannon Grant will be playing Sandringham, who will feature a full swag of St Kilda players. With the game to be broadcast live on ABC1 TV, the day is a great promotion of Frankston right around Victoria.
There will be prizes for the best I Love Frankston outfit in the crowd, along with jumping castles, roving characters, Finn the Dolphin, the Hip Cat Circus, Frankston City Band and the Peninsula Folk Club and more. Kids will be challenged on the Frankston Scout's Rope Bridge, while teenagers can enjoy the WHAT? Truck, which features Playstation 3, Wii, X-box, computers, internet access, DVDs, magazines, music and other free activities for young people.
Other attractions include a Rec Footy exhibition game - a mixed, non-contact version of Australian Rules football - little league, raffles and a pie eating competition! To register for this novel competition email: chris.hodgins@frankston.vic.gov.au.
Frankston is taking bookings for its Champagne Luncheon, so why not watch the footy in style! Only $30 per head for a beautiful three-course luncheon plus complimentary champagne from noon until 2pm. What a great way to sit back and watch the game! Be sure to call the Club on 9783 7888 to reserve your table now - it fills up fast!!
'I Love Frankston Day' runs from noon to 4:00pm, Saturday, 18th April at Frankston Park, corner of High and Young Streets in Frankston.
Reserves commence at 10.20am and Seniors at 1.10pm

Assuming one of Begley or Eddy is held back as a reserve for St Kilda's game, one of the St Kilda players named for Sandringham must drop out.
Only 12 AFL players can play against a stand alone VFL team such as Frankston.
Simpkin's selection on both the Sandringham seniors & reserves interchange would indicate that he is the expected player to drop down.
Despite no mention of an injury on the St Kilda website, Paul Cahill is again unavailable.
Does anyone know if he is injured, suspended or just absent.

Chris Weaver's Round 2 preview Frankston Park, 1.10 pm (ABC TV)
ROUND 2 PREVIEW By Chris Weaver Saturday, 18 April
Frankston (0-1) v Sandringham (1-0)
Last Time: Round 19, 2008 at Frankston. Sandringham 20.10 (130) def Frankston 9.18 (72)
Sandringham's new alignment with St Kilda got off to the perfect start last week, as they hammered the Casey Scorpions by 103 points.
Frankston struggled to combat the pace of Coburg forward pockets Robin Nahas and Andrew Collins, but one senses that it is the tall forwards they need to worry about in this clash.
Few players time their leads as intelligently as Nick Sautner and the veteran Zebra was lethal with eight goals against the undermanned Scorpion defence. Perhaps crucially, he kicked seven the last time these sides met at Frankston.
Whether Dolphins captain Shaun Pollard can stop Sautner depends largely on how often the ball enters the Zebra forward line. On a long, narrow ground direct footy will win the day and both teams are packed with midfielders capable of breaking tackles and giving excellent delivery to their forwards.
AFL listed players David Armitage, Leigh Fisher and Xavier Clarke were a class above their opponents in Round 1, but they come up against a Dolphin on-ball brigade that is much stronger at stoppages this week.
With the beefy Aaron Murray and Michael Lourey in attack, there is every chance the home side can take advantage of a relatively short Zebra defence.
Tip: Sandringham by 10 points
