Here is a question for the older posters. We were testing what brain cells we have left in a discussion at home the other night. Q: Which members of the Saints '66 Premiership side (ie the 20 competing players) did not play AFL (VFL) football again after the GF win?

Not sure if there are any others.

If my research is correct.

1907 6 times
1919 1 time
1939 3
1940 2
1950 1
1965 10
1966 9
1968 3
1970 2
1972 2
1974 1
1997 2
1998 1
2004 17
2009 1

Which actually makes 61 times. I think I left out 1972 before.

Hopefully we can get to 80 before the end of the season.

nope, B W and R all over is correct. head played 6 games in 1967, and synman played on until 1969.

Ultimate trivia or Ultimate History lesson

mainly Saintly

you can open mid thread posts by copying and changing the last number
for example
http://www.saintsational.com/forum/view ... art=386

when this post is http://www.saintsational.com/forum/view ... rt=4300

BUT Just avoid page 5 I think it is which has a bug and jams up

or posts numbere 87- 112
they range from
http://www.saintsational.com/forum/view ... c&start=86 which does open- noting the last number no 87 doesn't
to
http://www.saintsational.com/forum/view ... &start=112 which doesn't open But 113 does
