Saints bets you have this year.
wondering what kinda bets everyone has, or has had so far this year.
im not talking about weekly bets at the bookies...but i am interested if anyone has got money on us to get there in sept, maybe who we might play, make the top four, brownlow votes goal kicking etc.....
but also, the bets we make with family members, mates at work etc etc....the $50 ones for a certain game, or the ones for a carton or a six pack.
myself?
i had a six pack on the crows game.....Coopers Pales coming my way ty.
plus a port mate was saying how good Motlop is the other day and just being a right douche bag so i spoke up:
"50 bucks right now that Dal Santo finishes higher than ANY port player in the brownlow"
"you're on"
<shakes>
what about you lot

Have the same bet going mines only for $50 though, funny how cocky these collingwood supporters are. Very good investmentsainter104 wrote:Have $200 with a mate that recons pies above saints at end of home and away. pretty good investment me thinks.

I had 3 bets running on the saints game yesterday......1 slab of boags premium with 3 different blokes....gave them 42 points in....Ha ha still laughing.
Also had a bet with another person on the saints V swines game again 1 slab of boags.
In total have won 4 slabs of boags so far.

Saints bets you have this year
Ah..... betting on the Saints! Happy days in 2001 and 2002 when I routinely placed $5.00 on the Saints to win before every game at the Dome/MCG The odds were much better then and on those occasions when I came up the payout was quite a bonus! I can remember splashing $20.00 on the boys prior to the round 22 game against Hawthorn in 2001, and when Barry Hall put that goal through I was more than happy at the result
Talking of bets; in the days that I was working, I had a particularly obnoxious Carlton guy always asking me to bet on the result when we played them during 2000 and 2001. This guy said I'll bet you twenty bucks we beat you. I said make it a "ton" and it'll be worthwhile He always declined!
