Right you are, kosi fan tutti.kosi fan tutti wrote:Peter Bennett was five times leading goalkicker and represented Australia in the Olympic Games twice in water polo.
Why would you waste your time at the Olympics if you could play for the Saints?
Whats even worse than wasting his time at the Olympics instead of being our much needed full forward, this player, who twice scored 8 goals in a game, actually quit the then-struggling Saints to prepare for the '56 Olympics.
Your go.

I've been trying to log on for a day as kosi fan tutti but can't do it. Even created a new registration but that doesn't work for me.
So back to the questions.
The day we lost to the Bulldogs and Max cried, who was making their debut for the Saints?

Bullies by a measly point.
Jason Blake debuted.
(I try and forget about the losses).
Doesn't seem like 5 years ago.
Go Saints
I think that was the game that the bulldogs paid for, and everyone just got the free tickets from the ticket agency.......

Everyone knows that the Saints set a record by winning 10 in a row in 2004.
What year did we win 5 in a row (but on two separate occassions)?
Go Saints
Rounds 9 - 13
Rounds 20 - Semi Final

OK....
That year 1966.....
Who was the only St. Kilda player that did not swap his saints jumper out on the ground, after our premiership, but 2 days later was forced to by peer group pressure?
And what jumper did this player get in return???

Yes mate it was...riccardo wrote:Was it Ian Synman at all?
In 1998 when Ian Synman turned 60, his son in law, managed to track down Terry Waters (Pie No 5) in an attempt to retrieve Synman's No 9 jumper.
But Waters didn't have it. He wore it to training as penance - and wore it out.
Synman still has Waters' jumper.....

In 1992, Essendon reserves player Peter Filandia "won" the Gardiner Medal, that competitions highest award, by a whopping 7 votes, but, in a twist of fate he had been suspended during the season. In an eerie 1997 Brownlow preview, this allowed the runner-up, a St Kilda reserves stalwart, to be awarded the medal in Filandias place.
Which Saint was that?
