As for JD, I have had contact with him and he actually asked me to pass on his best wishes specifically to you and tell you in his opinion you do a great job especially with the MW.

You are correct, I thought JD went over the top at the time - however he PM'ed me on another forum and put his reasons and they were fair enough.

Would have their reasons ...but its always a pity to see quality long time posters just disappear.

just for the record Stinger my learned old law type, I just separated last year, life was fairly much a continual argument and getting in here for much of the same left me nauseous.

Life goes on, work has taken a priority and a few things fell to the back burner, this place included. Really after looking around I havent missed much.

I don't post much either, Bungiton. I'm the sensitive type and I am easily offended by putdowns , especially from one of the more obnoxious posters, who is no longer with us, but now seems to be revered.

If my memory serves me correctly Jeff Dunne wasn't a popular poster.

That doesn't stop me from regularly visiting this site though.

Savatage still floats around and I can't recall him leaving for reasons other then I imagine becoming busy.

Welcome Bungi, good to hear from you again. HD - Moose left cos he could not understand how Saints supporters could be so aggressive towards each other, spiteful and personal in their insults. He just wanted to interact with passionate sainters. It still amazes me that this sort of thing can happen between ppl getting on here for a common purpose. But the humour and enjoyment of this place is lacking when the likes of Bungi, Bigred, Moose etc have all left or been less frequent visitors. So, get back on here Bungi and help re-build this place and defeat the forces of evil and negativity.

although i'm not in the "veteran" league, i used to frequent this site a lot more. my interest has diminished not because of any abuse, but purely from the amount of woffle spoken, and then quoted back and forward in threads 5,6 and7 pages or longer. its a shame really, as there are some interesting people with some great thoughts and idea's that i think gets missed amongst the drivel.

as for the poster with thousands of posts, don't be fooled, there is an old saying about those who have the most to say.

and i still laugh every time i read a post by B4E. i remember him saying his goodbyes, never to return only to be back within days. nothing against the guy really, but i think that is a great example of the attention seeking that posters with their rants on here seek. just my opinion.

Now..cos it appears that because you arent getting your own way and someone you want banned isnt...hes a "valuable poster" and the mods need to "grow a pair"???

Funniest thing I read in years was the story about your encounter with some Swans fans.

Still break out in a chuckle when I recall it.

And "Ask Bungi" sorted out many of my personal problems. Not necessarily to a satisfactory outcome, but sorted all the same.
