We feel he is in really good shape but he just nicked a hammy last week so it’s frustrating for him. He’s really done his apprenticeship well and when I say that – he prepares well and trains hard. You can see that consistency come through in his footy. He is a talented ball-winner and a good kick. We’re looking to him to play in the midfield. It’s been a natural progression and we expect he will be in our best 22."

I am asking the question plugger66- just wondering-
I have yet to see Jarryd placed on LTI- although the assumption would be that he will be--
the practice by the club has been to only do that if there is someone who can fill a role...... are you suggesting there is a role that Zac will have?

Exactly..as soon as we elevate someone he's on full senior match payments. Would be nice if he played seniors and earned them eh?

As for the weather, according to Paul Higgins (the ABC TV weather man), the change on Friday is expected between 5 and 6pm, so the heat may not (if we are lucky) be a factor for at least some of the match.
