The action on the screen is 14:48 to go in the second quarter of the Semi.

Blake marked and Medhurst crashed into him.

They are actually watching the replay of the incident from another angle. Seems a strange reaction from a Saints fan to a replay of an incident in which we got a softish 50m penalty.

In other news, my wife and daughter used to think I was a freak. Now they know it.

who really gives a crap about you???

this was a thread designed at more fo a light-hearted manner and you decided to impart your wanky nature on it...which is unwelcome...very unwelcome

so do us all a favour, take your giving a crap, anti ross, pro ratten (of all coaches...hey buddy at least be high on a coaching that the media isn't...hey il'l give you one...knights...oh wait...he is terrible...achieved as much as ratten) and go over to big footy...post it in bay13 where barry zuccercon qc can mesh with you in a truly anti st kilda fashion

Anyone got an idea who is kicking the ball in the photo on the far left? There is a shot of a player kicking... looks like a tall player, and a right foot kick.
Anyone?

Edit: did you see the 1966 replica Premiership cup? Loved it!
And I think the person taking the mark in the far left photo is Lenny. Just a guess though.

I suspect you're right with it being Maguire

Dammit, I am absolutely spewing that my avatar wasn't last years clah, It would have bee so cool seeing it in a movie.
the use of - as you say- the Apron could be very well good placement
it has the saints Logo front and centre- the tri stripe- or the hot cross bun would not be as recognisable- along with the memorabilia

all are combined to let people learn the Saints icons.

Ditto. My gf thinks I'm nuts 'cos I got so excited at winning last year's sponsor prize of the Sammy G signed jersey (the white apron like Bana's.). Imagine my glee at telling her EB has it on the wall in a movie!

She gave me a strange look.....

I worked with Eric a year before he went on Vizards show, Erics a huge saints man, still amazes me seeing him as a movie star.

In moviespeak it's called "product placement" and costs a bit to have a product favourably placed on the screen.

Maybe for our membership department it could be called a "marketing tool" with Eric wearing his Saints top or footy jumper at all the interviews that come with flogging a film.

I can remember way back to the eve of the 1997 Grand Final when me and a couple of fellow sainters ended up outside Iain Hewitson's restaurant in St Kilda where 3aw were conducting a grand final broadcast in the heartland and Eric walked past us after he had been interviewed about his life as a Saints supporter. He gave us a "Saint-ers" cheer as he walked by.

Actually I didn't even realise he was wearing the media polo, since it is based on the training singlets of last year I am taking credit for that top too!! :D :D

in thinking of product placement- it can't hurt if the major sponsors name is clear in the actual movie- anyone with abig screen able to tell if 'Jeld- wen' made it onto screen?

Did Russel - Crowe that is-
use a movie to sponsor a game for his team in Sydney?
wonder if we can claim the movie for our shorts- -I can imagine what camments the words- Funny people- would evoke if they appeared on the shorts ;)

Confidential's gossip journalism, if they wrote anything original it'd be fiction (and probably too difficult)
