No it doesnt. It may mean they are more advanced than us.pickle_weasel wrote:So what if its a practice match, means st kilda has no depth once again.plugger66 wrote:We are playing terrible in a practice match. Saints will be lucky to make the eight if theyre gunna lose to such a horrible overrated side.

If we won it means little and if we lose it means as much. Why be stressed about a practice game. How did Geelong go the year they won the flag?

Milne is poor, have you ever seen anyone fall over as much...ffs he's not playing soccer, maybe he should beskeptic wrote:Geeez i hope this isn't a sign of things to come
- Umpires seem like they're paying approx 1 free kick a minute; this pbly the most over officiated game in the world... whoever gets the frees gets the goals and late in the 2nd 1/4 Bris just got free after free
- Saints completely dominating possession in the backline and look hopeless moving forward...
Yet another game where the saints can't manage more than 1 goal in a 1/2 of footy
Especially dismal effort considering we're dominating the ruck (cue Barks4ever)
- Eddy's off injured in bizarre circumstances
Standouts for the Saints
-Raph Clarke looked pretty good to half time, a few mistakes including one pisspoor helicopter kick in the first 1/4. Has very good ball handling skills in the wet
-Matt Maguire has looked alright. A few spoils, a few marks, has competed well
-Milne's tried hard but generally ineffective
-Dal's possession has been immaculate but he hasn't gotten much of it
- Ray is working very very hard and seems to be every where. Needs to improve his tackling
-Gardiner has worked his way into the game, reaction time is a bit slow but he's doing okay
Poor
- Skills have been piss poor. Missing way too many targets by hand. I know it's wet but geez it's still a poor effort.
- Hoping for more from Gilbert up forward.
Come on Saints, big effort in the 2nd half. I don't care if we don't win but I'd like to see us play at least 15min of good footy

At least we SAW something to hang our hat on that qtr - that to me is what these games are about.
Try a few things and give some kids a go.
Goddard HAS the aggression to go fwd for sure,....he can KICK and mark but what do you lose out of the midfield?
Raph Clarke looks as fumbly as ever.
Ball needs to do more.
Rucks look good in tandem - will cause sides a problem if they get a free injury run for a while.
