Training today

Post: # 695468Post plugger66 »

The boys did 3x1km time trial except for the younger guys and Bakes who did only 2 of them. The first group had all the guns in it and Begley won 2 of them and Blakey got one of them. I think BJ won all 3 in the second group and Jack won the second race in the third group and first year player won the first race. Not sure who it was though.

Rooy, MG, Kingy, Lenny, Woody,X and one or 2 others didnt do the running.

I'm assuming the first year player would have been Alistair Smith

Does anyone know what's up with Lenny? Reports from last Wednesday said he only ran laps and today's report has him not participating in the time trial. Must be something wrong !!

Did all 3 time trials and got better in each one as far as position finished is concerned.

Young guy

Post: # 695616Post 8bloggs »

Think the young guy who won the time trials was Sam McGarry.
Leigh Fisher was up amongst the front runners in his time trial group.
Lenny running laps, X sprints.
Al Smith running laps, don't think he was doing the time trials.
BJ well ahead in his group, looks like a man on a mission.
Stand pulled down to Bay 9, concrete terraces gone from goal along the non-stand side of the ground.
Bakes is so ripped he looks like a prized fighter.

Wouldn't surprise me if McGarry won the time trials. Very good runner.

What odds did you get - I am looking at $101.00 - seems tempting

Nick D is $126.00 and Luke B $101.00

I put 10$ each way, he was $120 to place and like $501 to win IIRC...

I'm pretty sure he's still on those odds at sportsbet.

since you know him, and he is a rookie, do you think he will make it as an afl player?
