A nursery in Brighton was selling chunks of the Moorabbin turf as "Pluggers patch" not long after the last game

What happened to the auction day ?

I was all set to go.
Then they cancelled it pending an announcement.
Nothing has happened.

It would have been a good money-spinner.

Or are they now going to slowly auction them off online.

Where is Saintsmedia with the answer ?

The rest of Australia can wander mask-free, socialise, eat out, no curfews, no zoning, no police rings of steel, no illogical inconsistent rules.
They can even WATCH LIVE FOOTY!

They could be hedging their bets........punting on us winning the flag, and flogging off everything in October.

Just a thought.....

After the last game at Moorab's I took a few chunks of turf from the goalsquare at the South rd end.

Took them home and put them in pots with some quality potting mix.

Over the next three years I transplanted it into the back lawn at my parents place. In the end I managed to get a six or seven square meter section of the back lawn to grow on its own.

Funnily enough, it looked so much better than the other side of the yard.

Still there today. Looks great :P
