When Harvey played his first game in 1988, I was a 12yo wearing short pants and struggling with my readin', writin' and 'rithmetic in grade eight. Now, I'm a father of three and a retired AFL player. And he's still going. Amazing! - Michael Voss

The club seems to like 5pm for some reason.
More chance of it being too hot, less people can make it for the start.
As B4E would say, "Go figure!".

I would think they will set a time once they have a weather forceast..so possibly it will be announced Friday
They have to balance a lot of factors...heat, the crowd attending, light.
AFAIK its not started after 5pm the last few years and was at 4pm once or twice

Archie has already said that the Intra Club WILL be open to the public and will commemorate the last "game" to be played at the ground.
Id imagine they will be making arrangements to accomodate the crowd in front of the Social Club stand and perhaps the first few bays of terracing on the Wing.

There is no chance that an Intra Club would not be open to the public - it'll be good to go by the 6th of February.Sainter_Dad wrote:Sorry boys and girls - cant see the Intra-club game being open to the public - it will be a health and safety issue as the old stand was being ripped apart today Bay 9 I think it was that was coming down. If you read Saintscentral, some dude on there in the know said that all stands that had no supporting structures behind them were being ripped down.
The first 3ish bays from the wing of the ripped down stand have a bit of infrastructure at the back, so these may be kept, along with the Social Club stand.
It really would then come down to Topsy Turvey and her mates at the council if they then allowed people to sit in what was left of the main stand.

Thats a very good point..the bays closest to the wing have the dressing rooms and curators shed behind them..they will be the last to gosaintspremiers wrote:If you read Saintscentral, some dude on there in the know said that all stands that had no supporting structures behind them were being ripped down.
