Hmmm...there's a lot of that going on lately. Are there any good ex-Saint candidates out there, for any of our ASSISTANT coaching roles?saintly wrote:well, it looks like the saints need a ruck coach. Madden has moved back 'home'

I thought that too...but is he the kind of guy who'd wanna coach, or who'd we would want to caoch our players? Linking your other thread comments, hardly seems like strength through loyalty has ever been Spida's motto...but then, I don't know the guy, just speculating.rodgerfox wrote:Everitt.degruch wrote:Hmmm...there's a lot of that going on lately. I thought the ex-Roy boys may have been working together, grooming Matty Clarke for a role. We'd need to be pick up our performances around the packs if we were to have a tap ruck as ruck coach though.
Otherwise, you'd have to go a long way back to find a Saints ruck of much repute.

king a gardniner are not the perfect ruck man, sure they could help the young guys improve but who would help them. There is always ways they could improve and we need a ruck coach to help them do so. kingy and gardy cannot watch vids of themselves playing and pic ways they could improve, that's someone else s jobSaints Premiers 2008 wrote:agreed sting, save the money and king and gardiner will tutor the young ones, the are better placed than most ruck coaches probably and given that one of them will more than likely be injured frequently it gives them something to do
simple way of looking at it

King and Gardiner need to concerntrate on there own games. Need to get Sam Newman on board has he has been successful as a ruck coach. Other possibilities purely based on how they played - Clarke ( already mentioned) , Rehn, Dempsey, Dear.stinger wrote:king and gardiner know about as much about the ruck caper as anyone else going around.......
Not sure if anyof these coach but they were always solid contributors regardless of ability.

Our hitouts to advantage will be up the shyte next year... for certain.
According to some, MG is a bad role model coz we didn't doa 5 month due dilligence. So you can rule him out.
Anyway, what makes you thinl he'd wanna help us out given that we didn't recritu his best mate?
Someone should throw out the current board... Pronto!

Ross only got us to a prelim in order to con us into renewing our memberships.jays wrote:thats crap ross seems fine sick of hearing suck ross crap he got us to prelim in his second year
That's what these lying b@stards do... the take us to a prelim, get us all excited, make us believe we are genuine contenders... then take our money... now watch us slide down the ladder next year.
Once they figured that the Cousins speculation didn't lead to a surge in membership sales, they ditched him. They were hoping he'd be the next coming of Malcolm Blight... but they guessed wrong.
Fortius Quo Fidelius... Pfftt!
More like Financius Quo Membersius.
IMO.
