Interestingly, Emma Quale didnt have him in her top 25 players... Not as in a phantom draft, but who she thinks are the best 25, irregardless of club needs...

Is big and throws his weight apparently..

Surprised Trengove was so overlooked..

Well Lynch fills some of our key requirements as can play down back or up forward ina key role.

He is also quickish witha good tank.

So as they tend to say...he ticks a lot of boxes...

Obviously, the recruiters have done their "due dilligence". Sorry.

Why did we pass on Trengove....

And the fact Rich was taken at 8 just shows that these 'recruiters' have no f****** idea.

Interesting selection

He is a hard working CHF......and we have the best player at that role in the AFL......

Hope he grows a CM or two.......at 191, he joins Max, Blake, Goddard, S.Fisher, Dempster, Goose at that size........

He was rated a top 25 pick......has good leadership skills.....

has a 3 minute highlights package on youtube

Averaged 13 poss a game (same as Blease)

He is a Ranga....

Before anyone comments, ask yourself if you've seen any of them play?

I've relied on everyone on BF to learn everything I know about the draftees. So to say it's 'stupid' that we took Lynch over Trengove is ignorant. As I'm sure Bevo and our recruiters know a shitload more than most of us keyboard heroes do.

But yes, anyone with info on Lynch?

The youtube vision shows he can get the ball
he can kick alright and can take a mark
a few of his handball play on attempts were ordinary but looks a very likely type (to bring up an Dyer-ism)
