easier than that is to call the club "for the cost of a local call" (not!) on the 1300 number and find out straight away!

cheers saintbrat

conflicting with this?
"Pre-Season training will begin on the 17th November with a 3km time trial"

I'd like to get down and check it out but if it's just a time trial that would be a bit dull.
when are the irish guys meant to be training?

I think I'm even more confused now!
can't see how it can be a closed session if it's down at Dendy Park?
yeah I realise they all start with a time trial, not real entertaining though

Archie's response for those who are interested

"We have actually scheduled all of our training off site next week so there will be no open session. I’ll have a chat to our footy department who are currently in the process of finalising our summer schedule and hopefully we can give our fans the opportunity to come down to a session sometime soon."

Some will be more ready than others.

I just saw Lenny running along the Bay Trail at Black Rock, about an hour ago.

Good to see someone putting in the extra yards.

I can't seem to get into the other training tread so thought I put this here

great to see'
There were a number of new faces in St Kilda singlets at the first training session, including former Bulldog Farren Ray who was traded to the Saints in October, former Magpie Sam Iles and delisted Demon Nathan Carroll who was barely recognisable with a clean-shaven face and buzz haircut.

Matt Maguire, Luke Ball and Steven Baker all trained with the main group after suffering injury-riddled seasons, while Brad Howard is still training with the club despite being delisted last Friday.

If the picture of Nick on the saints website is the new training jumper, i hate it! It looks like a basketball singlet! Not a fan of it! No where near as good as last year vertical stripe one.

That is because it IS a singlet.
They don't wear footy jumpers to run laps of Dendy Park.
