because its not a clash.barks4eva wrote:

Why was this jumper not in the poll?
the only difference is the back, changed the black back to white.

Well it is a clash really because i stops us from clashing with teams like Essendon which would be one of the few times we need it.saintdooley wrote:because its not a clash.barks4eva wrote:

here is what it would look like.n1ck wrote:i love this one, just wonder if it would be possible to swap colour so that the S through the middle was white, and then have the black section on the right hand side, and the red on the left, so it stays to the tri-colour layout of red - white - black??Mero wrote:
Just another one.
it looks to much like the home strip, the colours are kind of in the same possition, except they are just on an angle.
its better if it was black white red, or white black red etc...

Is in it the same theory with Collingwood "so called clash jumper" ?????
all they basically did was to change the BACK of their jumper to white...
F*** white IMO
Don't wait for the light at the end of the tunnel to appear, run down there and light the bloody thing yourself!

Considering some of the great original designs that were proposed in this thread I would be very disappointed if our clash jumper was simply our traditional top with a thicker white panel and white back.
Think of the marketing, why would anyone buy a slight alteration of our traditional jumper rather than the real thing.

I am just that desperate to return to some form of the hot cross bun regardless of colour
Yellow Peril is one of my favourites as well, just loved it because it was so original
Hot cross bun training jumpers next year. one black with white and red cross, one white with black and red cross. jeldwen logo across the middle.saint edward wrote:Armoooo wrote:Come on the Yellow Peril wasn't that bad I still wear itTeflon wrote: Who are we contracted with? Aside from all that, the jumper they're proposing wouldn't look very good in live action. It's going to look like we're wearing a plain white jumper. I think there's something to be said for not butchering the original jumper the way essendon have and coming up with a completely different one for clash.Armoooo wrote:Considering some of the great original designs that were proposed in this thread I would be very disappointed if our clash jumper was simply our traditional top with a thicker white panel and white back.
I'm particularly disappointed they didn't go with your white cross design. That would have been brilliant. And like you said, there have been some other great ones in this thread.
Yeah nah pleasing positive

That is the stupidity of the regulation, but it is the AFL we are talking about.saint66au wrote:Apparently it has to be predominantly the lightest colour in your strip
The jumper in St Fid's post doesn't clash and would be a good alternative, but why should common sense be used to solve an AFL problem??

There is no reason why the white strip on the front needs to be wider, aside from looking less like our traditional home jumper, it just looks worse.WayneJudson42 wrote:white back with wider white strip does it for me.
Red shorts anyone?
Just change the back of the jumper to white or red, though the AFL dictate white and there you have it!
Widening of the white at the front looks terrible!

White is a mixture of all the colours, black is a lack of colour... I have never really gotten where that shade talk ever came from.
(yes, I know Sainter dad wasn't being serious.)

Apparently the people in Seaford prefer that design.barks4eva wrote:There is no reason why the white strip on the front needs to be wider, aside from looking less like our traditional home jumper, it just looks worse.WayneJudson42 wrote:white back with wider white strip does it for me.
