favicon
Does anyone know the history of Saintsational's favicon (the white box with an 'M' in it that appears in the address URL when you access the site). These are easy to make and install on a site. Why is this site's icon so gay?

I've changed the favicon for saintsational in my favourites to a small St Kilda emblem ... so have never noticed the "M" ...

I found the change icon button- but where do I go for a saints one?
Now I know what they are - why do sometimes they NOt appear?
and many of my favourites already have them customised- the one on ss on my system is the internet explorer icon.

Re: favicon
I didn't realise small pixelated icons could have sexual preferences. Ah, you learn something new every day!doggerel wrote:Why is this site's icon so gay?

Make a really small one ...same as you would make and resize an avatar ..then save it and there should be a browse option ..find the saved image and use it ..saintbrat wrote:hOwBelfastSaint wrote:I've changed the favicon for saintsational in my favourites to a small St Kilda emblem ... so have never noticed the "M" ...

que? do you mean the little icon to the left of the address URL?
Re: favicon
Yes. Normally the site designer would produce one and host it on the site, and embed some code into the home page such that it turns up in the URL on the left. I was unaware that users could customise it at their end. Guess I'll do that!st.byron wrote:doggerel wrote:Does anyone know the history of Saintsational's favicon (the white box with an 'M' in it that appears in the address URL when you access the site). Ive got Firefox (WAY better than Internet Exploder IMHO) and I just use the defult icon which is a tiny sheet of paper with one corner folded down. As long as I can get to the site the "favicon" makes no differance to mebenengel14 wrote:In Firefox, how are people changing their favicon for their bookmarks?
Or are you guys using an add-on like BelfastSaint suggested.
