I'm really glad I backed in Cousins from day one - and I think all my posts prove it.

My only regret is that we couldn't take him last year.

Michele
I'd buy another two memberships if we got him.

Stuff it, I'm going out on a limb here, but now he's available, if he's capable and wants to play for us - he seems to like Melbourne enough - there's a nagging thing in my head saying "look at what he did to us in round 21".

We'd be foolish not to make contact and find out if he wants to play footy...

We do our own investigation into him, check him out top to bottom, ask the players, etc...and if it transpires in such a way that it would be a good thing for us, and bring us closer to a flag...

Hell, Schneider on one wing, Cousins in the middle, Joey on the other wing, a fully fit Dal Santo, Ball and Hayes patrolling the square with Harvey off the bench...

We could win it next year with that midfield.
I still think the same way 12 months on (if only we could have pinched one for Harves :().

FWIW, I wonder if St Michele will be renewing next year?

Clueless and mediocre petty tyrant.

Its quite simple really.

If he is clean, I want him to play for us.

If he is not clean, F*** him off.

Nothing else really to say, is there?
I'm sure 95% of Saints fans are saying the same thing.

Meh, as long he doesn't turn out to be another Tony Francis or Plapp type of recruit... who cares about his past?

If he is cleared to play then it would appear that he has taken the necessary steps to get his sh1t together, and so deserves a 2nd chance.

Since when does our club have to be the moral beacon for the AFL and society when it comes to these matters.

We have enough nice, clean players on our list that can't play.

Nothing wrong with a few ratbags... as long as they play good footy.

Being a martyr is great in principle, but not practical. I doubt our decision to draft him means that we have sold our sould to the devil.

To err is human... to forgive is devine.

The lid is off after Round 2! Enjoy the journey, coz you just don't know where we'll end up. Live for today and seize the moment.
