Dal does get his own ball. He has no problem putting his head over the pill. He can play inside or outside, although IMO he is best used outside.

Rubbish - you get a grip.

Some of the things posted on here about Raph Clark this season were not only disgraceful but gutless and cowardly, and really quite pathetic.

To think some of the things said about him while he was battling a serious illness that effects not just his football but his whole life was disgraceful.

At the same time his father was gravely ill.

Ignorance can be used as some form of defence I suppose, however stupidity and cowardice and gutter sniping cannot ever be defended.

The kid has had a pretty tough year. Hope some of the hero's on here never have to go through what he did this year.

Lance or James??

Ok - look I shared the original conversation because I thought it was interesting. I did not want this to turn in to a Fiora bashing thread.

Bottom line - Brad Johnson had an opinion. Great. Doesn't make him right. More importantly Fiora is one of our guys - like it or not. As long as he wears the RWB we support him as part of the team.

If my OP caused this to get off track, it was unintentional and I apologise.

If people want to character bash, they will find a way no matter what the thread contains...it happens all the time.

Yup, CS booing its own team, 'supporters' with vitriolic vendettas against their own players... get a freakin grip.

I hope we get Nathan Carroll and he takes that smiling ar$e-wipes head off next season...

I agree, we should not bag our own players.

Fiora wears red, black and white so I will support her and I hope she has her best year so far in 2009.

100% Agree JB.

The gutless cr@p that gets posted about players has more to do with the poster's lack of self-esteem and emotional immaturity... not to mention their lack of consideration for others.

Rather than focus on their own self, they take pot shots at others... coz it's easier to vent on others than face your own demons.

I think you summed it up nicely in another post where you mentioned the looming recession.

Sadly, many of the Gen X and Y have become accustomed to selfishness and a strong belief of individualism, at the expense of consideration for others.

The more things change...

Have you started a petition to get Rix back to the club?

I've got no problem with criticising players, with the amount they get paid I'm sure they can live with a bit of name calling but some of the stuff said about Raph went across the line, it is good to see him show them up with some great footy towards the end of the year.

Good luck Raph, continue to prove the naysayers (including myself) wrong!!

Dude, I agree. Criticise their ability... np. But the rest is unwarranted. Players like Fiora are what they are, so suporters should accept them and move on.

Rahp, Fizz, even TS40 getting booed when he went to get his medal. Pathetic stuff.

I still can't believe that with TS40, I was so ashamed to be a part of the same club as those people...

Ah, booing. I remember a certain cheer squad booing our whole team against the Hawks that time.

whipping boy...he made a few errors in the match

the thing is most on here disliked him big time, up until he was delisted and the year after most realized hey...he wasn't that bad

and then have continued that by praising him in almost glowing terms

I was unaware of SS at this point in time but to be fair he did make so big strides the year he was delisted, and from my understanding the club did want him to play on but his manager overinflated his worth and a deal couldn't be worked out, still surprised nobody else picked him up...

P.S. A funny little tidbit, his brother also got delisted from North a couple weeks later
