Coming up with Page not found.
Could someone please post draw on this thread?
Thank you in advance.
Was released prematurely by the H-S..not supposed to be public til 11am
Plus it had a typo in the title..Reply not Replay hehe
Gee only one game at the G is a bit dissapointing
and as for Collingwood..the old "oh everyone wants to play a home game against them" excuse will be trotted out..where in reality its cushy stadium deals they ahve signed with the MCG/TD that actually prevent them going interstate more than 4 times EVER

um, is this official?
The link takes me to a dead page. Also, the draw was meant to be released at 11:40am. Finally, there is NOTHING on the AFL site. The only thing that is giving me the slightest feeling that this could be accurate is the fact that it links up with a lot of what has been said.
Our round 7 Monday night clash. The 5 interstate in first five rounds thing.
And other bits and pieces I have heard.
If it is official, its not bad. 15 (!) games at Telstra Dome is great for us.

This proves it is fake.Art Vandelay wrote:By Comparison, here's how Collingwood fared:
Only play 2 of this years Top 8 twice: Swans & Bulldogs
14 games at the MCG
Only 4 interstate trips: GABBA x1, Subiaco x1, Sydney x1, Adelaide x1
And then the AFL has the audacity to say that the fixture is fair and equitable.
there is a rule that all teams play four teams from their hlaf of the ladde twice and three from the other half twice. occasionally they might make a 3-4 split, but it is NEVER 2-5 or better (or worse).
Here's hoping the real draw is almost exactly the same but gives us an extra MCG game or two or three. (and less Sunday twilight)

OBVIOUSLY, I clicked on the link but I don't think it was right because when I looked at the draw certain things didn't make sense. That is why I'm questioning it.
As for being on bigfooty, pfft, we all know what a reliable source that is.

This draw is pretty good for onfield success & terrible for off field dollars.
Only 3 Friday nighters...
5 Sunday night twighlights...
4 Sunday arvo's...
Play once- Geel (H) Haw (A) Freo (H) Coll (A) Bris (H) Carl (A) & Rich (H)-
thats three big drawing Melb clubs as away games.
A big responsibility on members to get on board & keep the club motoring financially now. The AFL has relegated us to also rans with this draw.
On a positive note it's great to have rounds 20-22 all in Melbourne & no trip to Perth in the last month.

They've right royally screwed us then.GeorgeYoung27 wrote:If you cant get to games live, you had better get Foxtel. Only 10 games on free to air and 12 on Foxtel this year.
F*** this competition just gets more & more unfair by the year.
Hard to attract major sponsors with our club being shown to tens of thousands on Foxtel versus hundreds of thousands on free to air.

Once again the AFL has bent us over. You would think helping them out by playing in Carrara they would throw some favours.
10 sunday games for a team that finished 4th. Traditionally temas that finish in the cellar get these games.
1 friday night game in Melb
2 trips to AAMI in first 5 weeks both off 6 day breaks
Monday night game v coll- TV crap Monday night football.
Look for revenue to plummet this year due to Sunday games, especially twilight games which are terrible for young kids with school the next day.
This is a disgrace but as long as Coll, Carl Syd Richare looked after that is all they care about
I will be disspoointed if the club does not comment about not being happy with so many Sunday games.
