Last time i checked this homeland was called Australia, therefore I'll be calling Telstra Dome Telstra Dome. Heck i'd even call it Colonial Stadium before this new name.

They could have at least called it 'Etihad Dome'. People usually just call it the Dome anyway. I reckon they changed to Stadium to get people saying 'Etihad'.

They called it telstra dome out of desperation because they wanted to call the Homebush stadium telstra stadium, and couldn't come up with anything better.... to keep the dome part would be like keeping half the previous sponsors name.

There is a limit.

Look at the US. Candlestick Park in San Francisco. Iconic. Was known as 3com Park and now is known as Monster Park. Herman Munster is number one patron.

I'm enjoying your sarcasm, but money cannot be the only reason for this sort of stuff happening.

MCG doesn't need to sell out. Why does Ian Collins?
