Should we draft Moody
Brisbane have delisted Moody after 3 years. Still young and seems like a very good footballer.
Thoughts.

Just didnt suit their style of play but he will be very good for us. We will probably have to use our first 3rd round pick but he that good.Moccha wrote:Why was he delisted then?plugger66 wrote:He will be a star if we can get him. The problem maybe that 6-8 clubs may be interested as well. Hopefully we can get him before them.stinger wrote:

Also, we can build the player up because he's yet to do anything wrong in our colours, post articles from his under 10s days, and easily slot them into our prospective best 22 for next season.
Hayes - Moody - Dal Santo
Not a bad centre-line, eh? Flag for sure.

Why should we look elsewhere when the draft has served us so well in the past five years?
I mean, look at how many superstars we've picked up since 2004 alone?
Fair dinkum...how many of you would take a bullet for a 25-year old (as of Feb) Clinton Jones, saying he's 'still developing' - but would argue that 23-year old Matt Moody is finished?
I'll never understand the double standards on recycled players; clubs get rid of players for all sorts of reasons. Guerra, Dew, Gilham - all three just ended up playing in a premiership.
Moody has a lot of talent and could play for another 8-10 years if everything went well. His body is the only issue. His hamstrings are a concern, but somebody will look at him for sure.
Is he young enough to rookie? I'd definitely look at him for that spot.
