He wouldn't be a bad back-up/third choice defender (never first choice) but his talent is only average, so it's not a high-risk, high-reward.

More like high-risk, medium-reward - not what we should be looking at, even if we do need to stockpile for when Maxy drops off.

It is a very ghey walk ... :wink:

But yes, he was as tough as old boots on the field. And I suspect, still very capable of being so off the field if necessary.
