Sidebottom is the type of player we need, has speed, can kick on both feet. I hope we don't get a ruckman with our 1st pick.

Easy....one good game.

Has improved through the year this kid.

Will get picked up, possibly first round.... Has talent, no doubt, but so do the first 40 kids taken.

Great name though.

Possibly? He's been a first round lock since the champs. Any last lingering hope of him slipping through to our pick has been destroyed. I was hoping he'd save that kind of performance for his St Kilda debut. Stupid, stupid Steele Sidebottom.

Will go top 6 now , which wll push Ziebell or Hurley back a bit , which pushes others back as well , so all is not lost . Awesome looking player though . Probably go to Essendon or Carlton .

Damn I thought he may be related to our Sidebottom and we could nab him. Oh well he has been in talks with St Kilda according to the paper this morning but also with Collingwood,Hawthorn and Port.

Steele Sidebottom will be good for the environmental publicity of the club that picks him up.

I think it is his dad that is heavily into alternative-blended-synthetic fuels in Shepparton-Numurkah !!

I read somewhere today that we are one of 4 that have spoken to Sidebottom already! might have been the Herald Sun

We drafted the captain of his TAC club last year. He probably would have been a target for us back when it looked like we had a top-10 pick around the time of the champs. There's no chance we get him now.

Absolutely grand effort by the kid, but he ain't tall nor did he seem lightning quick to me (from what I saw mind you, which was the second half). Where's he gonna play in a few years time? Is he a small forward? If so, I suspect he won't go too high in the draft. They're a dime a dozen.
