We've gotten rid of Harves and Gehrig!!

It's time to delist Baker, Blake, Lenny, Riewoldt, Kosi, Bally, Maguire and the rest and

PLAY THE KIDS!!!!

I think many who know me, know that I'm a huge supporter of Jason Blake.
Yes even when he was playing terribly and his disposal was unreliable.
Hey, the kid needed a fan and I'm more than willing.

He is the definition of team player. He doesn't have the worlds best footy brain, you couldn't mention him in the same breath as Riewoldt, Hayes, or (dare I say it?) Dal Santo. But he gives his all week in week out.

IT's nice to see the guy get some credit though. Especially from B4E, we all know what his previous opinion of Blake's place in the team was in previous years. ;)
However, this year Blake has really found his feet in a role he is far more comfortable in than trying for those elusive "Hit outs to advantage"

Good on ya Blakey and keep up the hard work.

If Fiona had Blake's ticker he'd be top 3 in the B&F.

Though a different style Blake is in a similar mould to Cat Colling who was not the most skilled but waorked his @rse off and got the best out of himself.

Blake is one of those guys who is more respected internally by coaches and peers than supporters.

I agree he had a fine season.

If every player on the StKilda list extracted as much from themselves as Jason Blake....we would be playing this weekend.
