It was a close call... but he chose the club where most of his mates will be, and where he will have the greatest chance of realizing the ultimate success.

Can we read anything into the fact he is announcing his preferred club on Channel 7 tomorrow? Surely if he was going to the Pies he would be announcing it on channel 9.

I really hope your right in your thinking.

With the exception of a few , the Saints have been Saints and this is what i believe in my club.

Would i risk taking such a "wonderful role model" just to get a flag ,,, hmm , hard one that but i think not.

Playing wise , yes , he would be a great addition to the mid-field should he remain injury free.

We are St Kilda. Ben has already shown he isn't.

Of course this is considering he nominates only for the pre season draft....He can put a price on his head, or he can just say that he only wants to play for St Kilda and hope everyone respects that and dont draft a player that does not want to be there.

BC is a mate of Michael Gardiner who the Club gave an opportunity to two years ago when no one wanted him because of his off field record - from all accounts Gardi is a reformed person now and well respected within the Club. Maybe the club can have the same effect on BC. You never know!

The club also needs to take into account what we require to go that extra step.
We need a sesoned mid-fielder who can break the lines.
