My husband, the Hawks supporter, says Maxie should have won a Brownlow, except umpires never seem to rate back-men, like Maxie and Sam Fisher.

I am of the opinion that he was robbed. When Walls (a selector) said that he's the best at shutting his opponent down, it only made me more angry.

I'm amazed that retirement was even a discussion for a player playing such a high level of footy.
