Saintsational vs BomberBlitz- October 26 at Gosch's Park.
Hi guys.
As was suggested in another thread it's time for forum footy to return.
I am proposing a game against the Essendon mob over at BomberBlitz.
For those unfamiliar with these games I will give you a run through.
We play a social game of footy against another forum, the game is 4 x 25 minute quarters and absolutely any forumite is welcome to play.
Provided they barrack for the Saints.
We don't discrimate on age, sex or ability.
The games are now played at Gosch's park (opposite punt road oval), as the state of our former venue Glenferrie Oval is appaling.
So if you are interested then chuck your name down here.
Positions are sorted on the day and everyone is given a go.
After the game we can all wander to a near by barbeque and have a feed with a few beers.
It's a good chance to meet some fellow posters and also get out there and have some fun.
All you need is a saints jumper, shirt etc etc.
If people aren't keen to play we also need a couple of boundary umpires, goal umpires, water people etc.
Go Saints.
So far,
HD

Fingers crossed that it is....We will assess in the coming weeks, if we need to change venues we will make sure we do with a couple of weeks notice.barks4eva wrote:Went past Gosch's Paddock and the whole surface is being regrown, relaid or whatever it is they do, currently not one blade of green grass visible
might be ok by game day, but..................?
Elsternwick Park is a good back up option...nice oval and no cricket pitch.

Fair Dinkum the entire board should be thrown out on their arse's for letting this opportunity for the club's future go, with their numbnut nonsense of sending us to fricken beverley hill billy park in fricken seaford
oh well, I'll just save it up for the AGM and then unload with all barrels, fair dinkum
DO THE MATHS AND THE SQUARES ARE ALL ROOTED.
