I know I generally only watch to see which Saints attend and how they poll, wishing for them to get recognition- obviously not as much as hoped this year,
so two Brownlow questions for me- apart from Nick who is a fav amongst pollsters which other saint will poll- How do backmen POLL-MAX AND SAM
How many votes will Harves get and would they be enough to get him close to the record votes- ( which where not true to voting due to being voted by two umpires for a couple of years)
* Former Footscray and Kangaroos ruckman Gary Dempsey has polled the most career votes, with 246. Halving his votes from seasons 1976-77 would give him 218 votes, still a record.
* That figure could be surpassed this season by St Kilda's dual medallist Robert Harvey, who is currently second on 212.
and secondly- what can they include that will be differant if they do a presentation or tribute to Harves ,- you would think after 21 years there would be plenty of vison out there- but we do seem to be getting the same pictures often,
I for one will be watching and taping to store with my memories.
He presented during the All- Australian- not something he has generally stepped forward for,- but his ease of speaking over the last few months has just reinforced to me his comfort with his decision.
