RUMOUR RE KERR/NDS SWAP
Heard yesterday from my brother (farmer on the South Coast of WA) that there is a rumour going around the traps in Albany that a deal has virtually been done - Kerr to Saints for Dal Santo. West Coast wanted Kosi but saints would not entertain the idea.
Thought it was total rubbish but just now the HR manager here at work dropped into my office and told me the same story. He is a Hawks supporter but his best mates father was the Property Steward at Moorabbin some years ago and has come up with some usefull goss in the pass.
Could all be rubbish (and I hope so as I dont want NDS to leave) but thought I would pass the info on
Cheers
Mark

Why would West Coast entertain such a ridiculous trade?
Trade one of the best 5 mids in the comp for a skilled but soft under performer whose output will never match his ability.
We would have to throw a bucket load + Dal to get Kerr, no matter how troubled he has been in the past.

The way Dal payed on the weekend suggests to me he WANTS to go somewhere else. I don't claim to know the in's and out's with him, or anything else...but he's lost the spark this season. Why?? I have no idea. I can only comment from what I'm seeing on the field from him.
Personally I'd like him to stay, but clearly there is something not right.

When they created LENNY HAYES (in the shadow of Harvs) they forgot to break the mold (again)- hence the Supremely Incredible Jack Steven!!

Lance or James??

Judd to Carlton LOOOOONG before it was made official.markp wrote:Can someone tell me the last trade rumour from this time of year that turned out to be true?
Maybe if we can get Greg Westaway to employ Cousins & Kerr and give them big bucks under the table like Carlton is doing, we might have a chance!!!! No way in hell Judd would have gone to Carlton otherwise......all about the money!
Don't argue with an idiot - people watching may not be able to tell the difference.

I think you'll find "Judd to Richmond" and "Judd to Collingwood" had equal status at this time last year.timtam wrote:Judd to Carlton LOOOOONG before it was made official.markp wrote:Can someone tell me the last trade rumour from this time of year that turned out to be true?
He only became a shoe-in for the Carlton when we discovered Judd's love of the environment and his desire to make a difference, through his hitherto unpublicised passion for helping the paper/cardboard industry become a better global citizen.
