I'm not ready
for the weekly adrenalin rush to end
be it today or next week, it's too soon,
Ok I know they need a break-
I know it's a chance to take a breathe
for some the excitement will be trade time
yes draft day is fun
thanks Goodness the Saints B& F will drag it out for another week.

How often have we been in a position to win two games to get a flag. While I am new to this forum I have been a keen supporter sice 1964.
We can beat Hawthorn. Watching tonight's game, we can also beat Geelong if we are at our best on the day.
This is a rare opportunity and I know the players will be fully aware of this. We can win the flag and the expectation should be no less than this.
Go the Saints!!!

Dantes Inferno
The Cats will burn in hell.
It is pre-ordained according to the Mayan calendar that we will win this year. Now, I am being very foolish, as I admit I have had one or two tonighht. But there are many foolish comments on this forum and who am I to raise the standard. Take it from me, the Saints are going to do this in 2008. It is within the ability of this team to win this. BELIEF
Best regards

The Puddy Cats are little more than stuck in the Vestibule of the Indecisives. Hawks eye victims from on high, yet it must take them time to get to the contest.
Remember the 7 deadlies - Pride (Cats), Gluttony (Plugger's gone - that's a draw), Wrath (Clarkson), Lust (Name me a Hawthorn supporter who doesn't want Buddy reaching around and adjusting the pillow for them), Sloth (A. Rocca and they're done), Greed (must blame G.Ablett senior, and ask the family of the dead girl).
And, then there is the seventh - Envy. He's 37, still alive, and every bastard in the competition wants to be him. It doesn't matter who we play, they all want to be Banger.
Then you look at him - rarely angry, humble, may attack some KFC skins when it's all over, certainly not lazy, does too much work off the ground to be seen as greedy, and, as for lust, Danielle is a fine choice.
Dante's on our side - the side of the righteous.

Pete - literati? No chance. Just got sucked in by the Hannibal trilogy and Seven, so went searching beyond.
But, when I read Inferno, I was truly struck by the concept of the Vestibule of the Indecisives - forever condemned to scream on the edges of hell, purely because they would not make a decision to support their own, and only because they were angels who were not permitted to oppose any watery image. Talk about a quandary?
I must say it was a damn hard book to read. Yet, beyond that, extraordinary. Dante wrote it hundreds of years ago, yet modern psychology still rates it as relevant. Personally, I'd make Max read it before tonight's game and have him quote passages to Franklin, who I regard as susceptible to anything beyond John and Betty. But, that's just me.
