Guerra

Post: # 647344Post Mr Magic »

Does anybody else think like myself that Guerra will be aiming to 'take out' at least one of our players in his inimitable style this weekend?
I realize that he seems to have taken that tactic out of his game this season, but given his coach is Clarkson (no shrinking violet as a player) I jsutr suspect that we might see the Guerra of old at some stage.

Who would be his target running off the HBF or BP?

Milne
Schneider
Roo
Dal
Harves

Would be tempting fate if he did. Imagine following instructions and being suspended for the Granny?

Lets just hope that Kosi and/or Lenny are in the immediate vicinity if/when he tries !!

Let's hope the Guerra of old has the last kick at goal when they're 6 points down!

When are they in the Grand Final?

Isn't going to be this year, that's for sure.

Then again, I really hope he has the last kick when they're 6 GOALS down!

To go with a dominating Schneider in the final quarter.... now that's Irony.

Id liek to see Guerra do his "pretend to get hit and lay over the ball giving away a free kick" routine that he did so well a few times (especially in the 05 Prelim) when playing for us.

If he comes of the HBF and hits Harves I think ill jump the fence and hit him

Anyone notice him in the game against the Dogs?? Seemed to be up to his old tricks as far as I saw. At least two very hard hits on opponents I noted.

When they created LENNY HAYES (in the shadow of Harvs) they forgot to break the mold (again)- hence the Supremely Incredible Jack Steven!!

seriously, for every player he takes out we should fix up two of theirs ... while keeping our focus on the ball and our minds on the game, of course.

I wouldn't worry about Guerra. He'll be too busy falling over and lying on top of the ball, his speciality when the finals going gets tough.

i'm not a fan of biffo in finals. too easy to take your mind off the game.

we just need the opposition to know that we are willing and able to respond if we have to

... in fact, to pay back double is a good rule of thumb.

not too sure that he would have a go at any of them.
they all probably still talk.....
and he wouldnt want to decrease the chance of him playing in the gf if they win.

+ if he hits harvs, it will end up in an all on brawl.
i see suspensions =l

no doubting he will be keen to get his smack on and lay out a few of our smalls...if he was to get rid of milne early on it would go a long way to assiting them win the match

i want to see someone take out osbourne...i don't understand what he does on the football field apart from attempt to take mark of the year, occassionaly push and shove someone or kick a bag once every 6 matches

or better yet...lenny to take out guerra...

a few choice world about guerra's record should do the trick.

three disposals in two preliminary finals (not including a fresh air shot) ... not a lot to hang his hat on.

In all seriousness, aren't the Hawks on the verge of losing quite a few players if they stuff up and have to face the tribunal?? They'll want to be watching their P's and Q's 8-)
