We have 3, maybe 4 options for buddy...
Max will get first crack, but Chips and Gilb are a good size and have the speed (and confience) to be used... Blake is not off limits also...
We also have been peeling off and supporting each other brilliantly in the back half recently..
Raph is great at reading the play and being 3rd man up... Has courage that often is overlooked by supporters, as he backs into numorous packs and lends a hand..
It is crucial to keep our feet when defending Franklin, as he will get 80% of his goals when the ball is on the deck... He is incredible at recovering from marking contests and collecting his own spillage.. 2nd and 3rd efforts will be the key in many contests...
For a 6'6" guy, he has flaws marking overhead... Roo and Kosi are far superior marks... However, when it hits the turf, he is faster than Milney to pick up the crumbs...

love the show of faith in max (who is as well equipped as anyone playing the game to handle buddy) but let's keep it in perspective.
buddy is a superstar and the most dominant forward since lockett (imo).
if he gets decent supply and good delivery, not even max will be able to stop him.
i have a healthy respect for buddy and i'm sure that max and the club would, too.

No doubt he's a star, but the same could be said about Roo, except most times he's flying solo on our forward line, AND, if our delivery was as good as what has been given to Buddy we wouldn't be having this conversation IMO. They need someone to shut down Roo, we need someone to shut down buddy...Max is the certainly the man for the job IMHObigcarl wrote:love the show of faith in max (who is as well equipped as anyone playing the game to handle buddy) but let's keep it in perspective.
