Chris Judd in his Brownlow year. Judd polled more votes that year than any other player this decade. Chad Cornes, Nigel Lappin, Michael Voss and Warren Tredrea all had big years for GF sides.
Obviously this year, there have been better perfomers.
Most players had done their ballot before we'd reached the top-4. If they had waited until after R22 to do their ballots, Roo might have polled more votes. I'm surprised he polled as few as he did anyway, given he was one of the best performed players in the 2nd half of the H+A season.
OTOH, the fact that Geelong failed to even nominate Jimmy Bartel probably allowed a bunch of players to poll votes that otherwise wouldn't have.
In either case, I'm not sure of the significance of the top-10.
