To be honest, in the scheme of things i couldn't give a stuff if we win or lose next week.
All that matters is that I am going to pay my respects to absolute champion and legend of the club and AFL in what maybe his last game.
To all StKilda players, before you run out next week look Harves right in the eye and make a commitment to busting your arse for 120 minutes.
If all 22 players can do that, the result will look after itself.

I reckon he deserves another real shot. We CAN beat Collingwood and we HAVE beaten Hawthorn. Then again, it's finals footy and it's a bit different. We've still got a shot. I reckon Harvey can still line up in his 2nd Grand Final. A premiership, maybe not, but a Grand Final appearance is a definite possibility. Realistically, we're not the greatest team (obvious after today), but we've got a gutsy and talented list. If they stand up, we've beaten the Pies, and maybe the Hawks too. Naturally, neither of these teams are as good as Geelong, so we'll definitely be able to use the footy better next week and, hopefully, the week after. That's a positive - we've met Geelong and experienced being under the pump this weekend. If they train as though they were taking that on again, who knows, I'm rambling.
Harvey deserves the team to pull something out of the hat - as Milne said "We owe him a lot, don't we?"
Damn straight.

Let's give Harvey his fairytale finish

I reckon this post is the one thing that has been wrong with Saints supporters for years. Saying couldnt give a stuff whether we win or lose as long he pays respects to a champion. Well I would rather win our next 3 games even if Harvs couldnt play than losing and showing respect to Harvs. We all on here have respected Harvs for years. I want us to win the game. We need to get over individuals and start supporting the team as a whole. One Eyed Saint wrote:To be honest, in the scheme of things i couldn't give a stuff if we win or lose next week.
