Which Saints will surprise us on on Sunday?
Finals have a habit of having a player, or players stand up and surprise you...playing above their form (while yes others disappoint).
Gwilt did it in Adelaide...
Banger seems to do it most big games...
Who will it be on Sunday?
Will Kosi rise to the occasion?
Will X come in and tear it up to honour his sick Dad (has anyone else seen X's tatoo...about doing it for your family?) ?
Or will the Geelong team play be too much?
I have a "feeling" that BJ and Gram will be two players that will deliver blinders (but that mau just be wishful thinking....).

Surely you are not surprised by anything this man does!saintsRrising wrote:Banger seems to do it most big games...
I'd love the two ex-cats to have big games and Steven Milne needs to deliver in a final.
Our two most important players will be the ones that get the jobs on Ablett and Bartel.
I'd love to be surprised by Blake playing a run with role on Johnson and keeping him quiet.

kozi will have a blinder
i bet the guy is farking itching to prove to everyone what he is capable of....
we all have seen glimpses of it here.
he will prove all the doubters and trade talkers wrong and kick 4 goals, play in the ruck handling himself pretty well and float around the ground picking up 20 marks and creating play.
lenny will bust his ass and lay 12 tackles.
but that wont be a surprise to us now will it

Milne & Kosi.....
If Milne kicks around 5 & Kosi dominates around the ground.
We'll stretch their defensive structure.
Expect those who have been consistent all year, to do the same come sunday, it's the x factors that matter.
Many doubt Milne & Kosi ability in big games, hence the reason to perform come sunday and prove all those doubters wrong.

I think Eddy will pop up and get his kicking boots on, slot a few goals.
Can't go past Milne and Schneider to kick some goals against the flow of play to either keep us in it, or draw back a lead.
X-man may go out in a blaze of glory, ala Melbourne '06, but if his body holds up, may just tear the game apart.

Yep, I've got my money riding on X to turn it on also!Otiman wrote:

When they created LENNY HAYES (in the shadow of Harvs) they forgot to break the mold (again)- hence the Supremely Incredible Jack Steven!!

i bet he cant wait to get out there and step on the gas....HarveysDeciple wrote:X man is an interesting one.
In the 6 finals we played from 04 to 06 he only played in one of those, and was injured and out of the game in the first 5 minutes.
Essentially this is his first taste of finals, he might be the man.
nothing like seeing X grab that footy and take off
i love it.
hope he kicks 3 or four as well
dal and lenny too, hope all these blokes can chip in with a couple because like the cats have already, we need some scoreboard pressure from our mids

CJ - when he lays a tackle on jnr and the collarbone snaps!
In the reprisals Mooney swings at BJ, misses and breaks his hand on the face of the fast approaching Ling. Ling wakes up in a month and cheers on his old mate King in the GF decider against the Pies!

"The starting point of all achievement is desire. "
For us to pull this one off there will need to be 22 heroes on Sunday.
Even "if" we don't get up, it is vitally important that we don't get blown away.
If we manage to get another crack at them, a close game on Sunday will see that our boys know that they're a real chance the next time.
A massive loss and you couldn't blame them for going into the next encounter with negative thoughts running through their heads.

Couldn't agree more - i think BJ is the man to tear this finals series open. He is an out and out gun that seems to get better with every performance.
GOOOOOO SAINTS!!!
