Well that's what you (and only you) have had to say. No reason to disbelieve, but i'd rather give the kid the benefit of the doubt. Looks like he's turned things around if he's back at the saints and playing good footy in the Casey 1's.plugger66 wrote:Had nothing to do with his injury. So you think we sent a player to train at Casey because he was injured. Well that makes sence as I saw Attard, Goose and Eljay only training there as well. Who would think they had better medical facilties than the Saints. Amazing.Otiman wrote:Well that's what you (and only you) have had to say. Like I said, there is no reason to disbelieve, but perhaps not to judge harshly based on the unsubstantiated reports of one person.plugger66 wrote:So you think we sent a player to train at Casey because he was injured. Well he's back playing with the Scorpions 1sts now, and also playing some good footy. I think it's time to let the past be the past for Chivers, and hopefully the Club will retain him for next year.

It was a mix of both actually plugger.plugger66 wrote:Had nothing to do with his injury. He still did all the physio and recover stuff and Moorabbin but did his actual training with us in Cranbourne.
The discipline issue is correct but I don't believe it is something up for discussion on the forum... and before you say everyone has their right of opinion, I just want to say I'm not going to make any comments on the discipline side of things... everyone makes mistakes and for a young player he has gone a LONG way to getting back on the right track.
His been given the chance to prove himself and I believe he is working hard at doing so... and yesterday's results have shown just that.
Anyhow, back on the topic, great win by the boys yesterday, very unlucky the Werribee got up against Williamstown which puts thema game above us and gives them the double chance!

Agreed totally, if you did then it would likely put you down in the hutchy gutter . If it's not an ongoing issue, he will be retained, if it's a dealbreaker then expect him to be delisted.Ilzy#8 wrote:The discipline issue is correct but I don't believe it is something up for discussion on the forum.
Especially from a young player, it's not fair to focus on any discipline or social issues, which are being handled within the club.
On the football field, it's clear he shows something, 3 goals in his second VFL seniors game. Not too shabby! Would give Charlie Gardiner a run for his money next year, that's for sure.
Look forward to beating 8th place next week. (Frankston, or Sandringham if they win today)
