Post: # 631796Post Sam23 »

Jeez his good, turned it on yet again today.

His second half was nothing less than inspirational.

Agree captaincy wise.

Every time he (or Lenny or Dal or S Fisher get the ball) goes to kick I know he will hit someone 40+ metres away.

one of the best kicks in the league...

watched with my old man on fox - at start of game i said bj is the best kick in the league - he laughed, but by the end of the game he conceded 'you might be right.'

Yep, BJ is arguably our second best and most valuable player. He can sweep across half back and command the defense, he can deliver 50-60m passes with pinpoint accuracy, can take a strong pack mark and now he's adding some valuable midfiled clearance work to his resume. He'll figure prominently in the B&F which is amazing coming off a knee reconstruction. He's a gun!

yep and he makes kicking look so easy you wonder why everyone in the league can't drill chest passes 55 metres away...

he is good, and his decision making is a lot faster and his marking is probably in the top 3 in the club too.

probably 2 seasons away from achieving physical maturity as well ><

On top of his abilities you've gotta love his passion and determination. He absolutley does not like to be beaten.

Entering the realm of champion player is Goddard.

Skills, decision making are elite. Natural footballer with the amazing passion.

Bring more of this to the AFL, it is sorely missing.

Throw BJ this challenge of a real crack at a Flag and I reckon he is going to go to another level. Roo will as well.

He has the club close to his heart and plays for it. His and Roo's form has been a great highlight of the year.

Most definitely a future leader. He already leads !

Still underrated which is good for mine, sure he doesn't get the recognition but gets to play a bit looser, which Monty hasn't been able to do this year with the media attention last year.

Monty in the past 3-4 weeks has certainly started to turn his season around after being a quiet one could be a big player now that we are in finals.

Everyone loves kick to kick. One of my favorite pastimes even though I'm not a great kick.

I'm never ceased to be amazed watching BJ up close from level 1 kicking.

A pure beautiful style. Add a massive heart and loyality and all I can say is thank you Carlton !

Goddard's kicks were laser like tonight. Arguably the best kick in the comp, and has become a general in our defense. Has really surprised for returning to his best form so soon after a knee reco.

he is a pure footballer...

i enjoy being correct about him not just last season, but the prior seasons when he was slagged off here as a waste of a top draft pick
