INJURIES

Post: # 625319Post Con Gorozidis »

So am I correct in saying Ball and Milne are our only injuries and they are both 2 week injuries meaning we almost have a clean slate ?

So if we are any good and win the next 2 - even 1 of the next 2. We go in the finals with as full a list as anyone. So no excuses at all.

Touching wood of course nothing happens in the next 2 games.

Steven Baker is a chance to return for round 22

KEY St Kilda players Steven Baker and Michael Gardiner are set to miss at least another week with injury.

The pair will stay on the sidelines with former skipper Luke Ball who yesterday said he was looking at a round 22 return.

Baker and Gardiner will be tested for knee and calf injuries respectively but club spokesman Matt Schmidt said the two were likely to have to wait another week before returning to the senior team.

Baker has not played since injuring his knee against Richmond in round 7 but Schmidt said there was a chance he could come back for the last match of the home and away season against Essendon.

“He’s a chance for the week after this but we’re not 100 per cent sure. It doesn’t look too bad but the fact he has some knee soreness we don’t want to take any chances,â€

Baker and Gardiner will not player seniors again this year.
Bakes has only played 2 games this year. If we are fair dinkum, his year is over.
Gardy may never play again.

Bally and Milne will probably play next week.
