What an ego.
Can we all have our own "Reports"? Jeez
There's a link up the top left of the screen that says 'New Post'.
Click it.
It's also referred to as 'starting a new thread'.
I know the concept of people opening threads that discuss the games and our club is a bit odd, but you'll get used to it.

I actually dont see a problem with it. He puts his name in the title so you dont have to read it if you dont eant to. Pretty simple really.markp wrote:As you well know there is summarising and reviewing, and there is surmising and revisionism.rodgerfox wrote:Or perhaps the Saintsational Fan Forum. Maybe we could start a 'sticky thread' in each poster's name (alphabetically) and then we could read/post in whichever one we wanted to, without having to read through all the other threads?
Or alternatively we could have threads titled:-
The Plugger66 Factor
War Stories with AOK
Hard Talk with Saint66au
Foreign Correspondant with EvertonFC
Today Tonight with Joffaboy
A Current Affair with Markp
Sunrise with Fonz_15 and Snoopygirl (Outside broadcast in Frankston)
Romper Room with mr Magic
etc, etc.
Do you reckon it migh be a tad narcissistic?

This season, there is one stand out excellent side. Geelong. Should win the flag comfortably. Ladder position 1 at present.
There are 2 very good sides. Hawthorn and the Bulldogs. Positions 2 and 3.
There are a whole bunch of decent sides that can beat each other on any given day depending on available personnel, attitude, skill and effort. We are in this catagory. Positions 4 to 9
There are some up and coming sides, who still are yet to make their mark with young teams. Positions 10-12.
There are a three good sides badly underperforming over the year. The 2 WA sides are here, as is PA; positions 13-15.
There is one absolutely poor side, Melbourne. Position 16.
Next year the mix will be different. That happens each year. We'll fit in there again somewhere. But at present, we are in catagory 3. We'll beat some of our peers, and lose to others, all on the day.

I must admit I avoid this place for a day or 2 after a loss. The doom'n'gloom posse (includes Rodgerfox BTW) will piss and moan, and want to delist the majority of the list. The GT bashers/supporters will do their thing. RL will cop a caning.
All very booring.
Each year there is 1 premier, and 15 also rans. Thems the facts. For all but 1 year since our inception we've been an also ran.
We are again this year, and we'll have 14 mates by 5.00PM grand final day. And I suspect all of their supporters wil be pissing and moaning as well.
That's footy.

Yup, the tools who come out and say "we wont win the flag this year cos we're not good enough...." like to pretend they are freaking Nostradamus.St DAC wrote:I must admit I avoid this place for a day or 2 after a loss. how disappointing, the fickle nature of some st kilda supporters. i've never understood people who seemingly take pride in kicking their own team when the chips are down, in fact i despise this kind of stuff. i'll proudly support the boys win loss or draw.
a loss against a collingwood team who were ALWAYS going to be up and about, on a night time MCG coated in mist - this game couldn't have played into their hands any better. i thought they would beat us as soon as the scandals of last week eventuated. as bad as our players seemingly were, collingwood were clearly the better team on the night.
maybe some of you should take our proud clubs motto to heart - STRENGTH THROUGH LOYALTY.

agree with you Plugger. If Rog wants to post his take on the game on a weekly basis and call it "Tangled Beavers Eating Silicone" it's up to him.plugger66 wrote:

Nothing wrong with Roger posting like this.
He stands by it.
Doesnt mind having it picked at.
He'll back it up.
Good bloke Roger.
If I was in the West I'd be at the pub each week with him.

Well Rodg is back to his true colors.....though if we win next week he will most likely be back wearing the mask of a Lyon fan.
About time that a few woke up and smelt the roses that the "Great God GT" drove our list into the dust by throughing away draft picks and taking poor picks.
Kids normally take 3 or more seasons to come on. So where is the steady crop of those taken under GT once the high picks dried up = bugga all.
Why do virtually all the GT era players have shocking footskills?
Why do we lack leaders? Why apart from Roo and Ball are our leaders all from the pre-GT era?
GT did not build leaders...he built proma donnas.

If I see GT again I'll throw up...
We don't lack leaders, BJ, Roo, Lenny, Max, Fraser & Bally are all fine leaders. How many leaders do you reckon the Cats have?
The footskills previously were a feature, what has happened.....
What is happening now is a product of the current environment nothing else...

I've been quite critical Lyon the coach for a long time.
I'm not sure what you mean by 'back' to my true colours??
These have been my colours for a while. I thought I've made my opinions pretty clear.
